Volevo rappresentare a modo mio la Sicilia. Lo ammetto, questa volta ho osato, cercando di creare un’unione tra diversi elementi. Oltre al legno riciclato, ho inserito della stoffa tipica siciliana. Dopo aver assemblato gli elementi, ho iniziato a dipingere. Non ho pensato molto, questa volta ho fatto prevalere il mio istinto. La tavola di legno rappresenta l’isola, la stoffa intorno una battigia che l’avvolge dolcemente. La parte bassa, il mare che le si avvicina accarezzandola. Raffigurando vivacità ed emozione. La parte alta il rosso del sole e della lava dell’Etna. Rappresentando forza e intensità.

I wanted to represent Sicily in my own way. I admit, this time I dared, trying to create a union between different elements. In addition to recycled wood, I have included some typical Sicilian fabric. After assembling the elements, I started painting. I didn't think much, this time I let my instincts prevail. The wooden table represents the island, the fabric around a shoreline that gently wraps it. The lower part, the sea that approaches it caressing it. Depicting liveliness and emotion. The upper part is the red of the sun and the lava of Etna. Representing strength and intensity.
