Info: In quest’opera ho rappresentato un aspetto atipico del Natale e delle festività in generale. Parlo della tristezza, della malinconia, scaturite dall’assenza di qualcuno che purtroppo non c’è più.
Ho dipinto guardando a me stesso, con la consapevolezza di condividere queste emozioni con tante altre persone.
Il mio intento non è sminuire le festività, ma solo dare voce alle emozioni che spesso nascondiamo per conformismo o semplicemente per non “disturbare” gli altri.
Nell’opera una scia blu rappresenta la persona che non è più al nostro fianco fisicamente, continuando però ad essere sempre presente dandoci la forza per proseguire il nostro cammino.

Info: In this work I represented an atypical aspect of Christmas and holidays in general. I'm talking about sadness, melancholy, resulting from the absence of someone who unfortunately is no longer there.
I painted looking at myself, with the awareness of sharing these emotions with many other people.
My intent is not to belittle the holidays, but only to give voice to the emotions that we often hide out of conformity or simply to not "disturb" others.
In the work, a blue trail represents the person who is no longer physically by our side, but continuing to be always present, giving us the strength to continue our journey.
